Three Irish Tenors to Present 'Christmas From Dublin'

The Three Irish Tenors will present “Christmas from Dublin” at the Vital Express Center for the Performing Arts on Nov. 19. The trio will celebrate the holidays with songs such as “The Little Drummer Boy,” “Adeste Fideles,” “Silent Night,” “Saviour’s Day” and “O Holy Night.”

Enchanting audiences worldwide with their music, warmth and charm, the young trio are on their sixth American tour. They pride themselves on singing songs and arias that appeal to all generations and cross both cultural and national boundaries.

The Three Irish Tenors are Ciaran Nagle, Anthony Norton and Brian Dunphy. Both Nagle and Dunphy are veterans of “Riverdance,” the Irish music and dance extravaganza that has performed worldwide for nearly a decade. Norton’s many credits include “La Scala Milan.”

Nagle has performed as Guiseppe in “La Traviata” with the Lyric Opera Company and El Remendada in “Carmen” at The National Concert Hall in Dublin. Norton has performed with every major opera company and ensemble in Ireland, including Opera Ireland, The Wexford Festival of Opera, The Opera Theatre Company and The National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland. Dunphy has performed in numerous shows, including “Here’s to the Melody,” “Aspects of Love,” “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and “The Merry Widow.” He spent two years as the principal singer in “Riverdance” at The Gershwin Theatre on Broadway in New York.

Joining The Three Irish Tenors at the Vital Express Center will be an ensemble of musicians as well as special guest The Irish Divas, composed of Jacqueline Whelan, Danna Davis and Ellen McElroy.

The Three Irish Tenors, formed by friends who met over a few pints of Guinness at McSorley’s Pub in Dublin, have captivated audiences in packed houses throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The Three Irish Tenors are scheduled to take the stage at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19. Ticket prices range from $30 to $50 per seat. Tickets can be purchased by phone at (661) 362-5304 or on-line at http://www.vitalexpresscenter.com. The Vital Express Center is located on the campus of College of the Canyons, 26455 Rockwell Canyon Road in Santa Clarita.
