Ribbon Cut for College's Newest Building, Hasley Hall

See photos below.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Nov. 28 to introduce Hasley Hall, a high-technology classroom building that is now the largest building in terms of square-footage on the College of the Canyons campus. The 49,505-square-foot building was funded by a combination of Measure C bond funds and a statewide bond measure.

Hasley Hall houses the business, cinema, computer information technology, computer science, communication studies, economics and journalism programs. It also includes offices and other support spaces required for those academic programs.

Speaking at the event were Ernie Tichenor, vice president of the college's Board of Trustees; Dr. Nancy Smith, vice president of academic affairs; Congressman Howard P. "Buck" McKeon and Dr. Dianne G. Van Hook, superintendent-president of the college

Visitors participated in classroom and laboratory visits following the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony.
