University Center Architectural Rendering

This is a conceptual rendering of the permanent University Center, which will be located on the southernmost portion of the campus and feature a commanding view of the Santa Clarita Valley. A growing number of public and private universities already have a presence at the College of the Canyons, offering advanced-degree programs at the Interim University Center. The interim facility was completed in early 2002 to meet soaring demand for class space among the college's University Center partners. Partner institutions include Chapman University, University of La Verne, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Fresno, Cal State Northridge, ELS Language Centers, Woodbury University and California Lutheran University. Once completed, the Santa Clarita Valley University Center will offer a wide range of bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees, as well as specialized training programs. The center will make it far easier and more convenient for residents to obtain advanced degrees and training by eliminating the need to travel beyond the Santa Clarita Valley.
