Refunds/Petitions
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
- It's your responsibility to initiate a request for a refund
before the refund deadline date for the class.
- It's your responsibility to drop your classes before the refund deadline
date for the class.
- Refunds for parking will only be made if you return your
parking pass prior to the refund deadline date.
- A "Petition for a Refund after the Deadline" form
must be used to obtain a refund for any refund requested after
the deadline date or any class dropped after
the deadline date. This form may be obtained at the Student Business Office
or the Admissions & Records Office. Petitions for late refunds
will be accepted no later than the end of the term in which the
class is offered.
HOW DO I GET A REFUND?
You must drop classes and request a refund with the
Student Business Office prior to the
refund deadline date. If you dropped any class after the
start of classes, you will be charged a $10 processing
fee.
REFUND POLICY
Your parking permit must be returned to
obtain a full refund. Refund checks are mailed approximately six weeks after the refund deadline.
NOTE: All credit
balances/refunds not applied for will be lost. Credit balances/refunds cannot be transferred to the next
semester/term.
REFUND OF OTHER FEES
- To receive a refund of the Student Development Fee
you must apply for it by the refund deadline date. To obtain a refund,
go to the Student Activities office in Building S, Room 103.
CANCELED CLASSES
If a class is cancelled, students will receive a refund of all fees associated with
that class. If this is the only class for which a student is enrolled, all fees, including
term-based fees will be refunded. Remember to return your Parking Pass for
a full refund.
