Assist teachers in the classroom with various duties. Help with reading / math groups when students are split according to different levels.

Works with low income families to help to break the cycle of poverty and illiteracy. There are four parts of the program: Adult Education (English as a second language, compute basic literacy in English and Spanish, vocational skills, GED, etc.)
Child care - working with 2 - 3 year olds providing developmentally appropriate activities. Literacy - tutoring adults in literacy skills in English or Spanish. Other tutoring - math, computers, sewing, etc. Help with special events such as Dr. Seuss Birt
Children's assault treatment services (CATS) provides specialized care for children and adults who have been victims of physical and sexual abuse. CATS also provides prevention education on child abuse issues to parents, teachers, law enforcement agencies
Public speaking; general office work, including internet research; distribute information (brochures and materials); attend community meetings; phone calls; introduce program; assist in health fairs.
