• All NEW students must attend an orientation to register for your project
• You DO NOT have to RSVP for an orientation
• Please remember to bring your student ID number and course information (i.e. instructor's name, course number, and 5-digit section number) to the orientation
   
• New students will receive a Service-Learning Handbook during
  the new student orientation process

Experienced Service-Learning Students &

4th Semester Nursing Students Registration

All experienced Service-Learning students and 4th Semester Nursing students are not required to attend the New Student Orientation for Service-Learning.

What do experienced Service-learners and nursing students need to know before starting a Service-Learning project?

You must...

•  Register for your project with the Service-Learning office STCN-111 (Valencia Campus) by February 25th

• Pick up Service-Learning Handbook from the Service-Learning office STCN-111 (Valencia Campus) by February 25th

• Read carefully through the Service-Learning Handbook

• Verify your Workers' comp paperwork is on file before you start service hours with the Service-Learning staff

• Fill out the online registration form at http://www.canyons.edu/offices/sl/forms.asp no later than February 25th

To register for Service-Learning and pick up the required paperwork, you must stop by the Service-Learning Office between:

February 11 - February 25, 2013;
12:30pm - 4:00pm.

***Please note that our office is open Monday -Thursday, 10am - 4:30pm; closed on Fridays.

Although it is not necessary, please consider scheduling an appointment to guarantee a time slot to avoid waiting long periods of time before you are served by the Service-Learning staff (661) 362-3231.
