Services Offered |
The Fillmore/Piru Mentor program, under the auspices of
Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Ventura County, serves both middle and high
school programs, bike and skateboarding clubs, and post secondary
educational planning and assistance.

Meaningful Duties |
This is a traditional BBBS program where we match adults to youth as
well as high school youth to elementary and middle grade youth. In
addition, we run a teen wellness drop in center on Mon-Thursday from
3:00pm-6:30pm.
Service opportunities:

Help in the afterschool program where the high school
youth mentor younger youth.

Help with the video production class on Fridays.

Help at the One Step Teen Drop In Center on
Mon-Thursdays

Help during the day at the high school to interact
with you, do clerical assignments, help organize lunch meetings.

lab preparation, set up and tear down of labs, and testing of new
experimental procedures in the Biology Lab on the Canyon Country Campus.
