This Year long community reading initiative will give our students
opportunities to work with the campus community, the County of LA Public
Library, and the Friends of the Libraries of the Santa Clarita Valley.
Students will be able to assist with event planning, outreach and
promotion, panel presentations, research, website monitoring,
documenting/archiving the series of events, and participating with
literacy programs.
Targeted Courses: Art, English, Communication Studies, History,
Political Science, Photography, RTVF, Culinary Arts, Sociology, Early
Childhood Education, Humanities, Jounalism.
