There is a 60 hour mandatory training that takes
place Friday evening and Saturday & Sunday days for 4 weekends. We have
them 3-4 times a year. We are looking for Rape Crisis Advocates to work
our hotline and accompany survivors at the hospital, plus we are looking
for individuals that want to provide community outreach for our family
preservation program. |

Services Offered |
This elementary school has 750 K-6 graders.
It also houses the Regional Severely Handicapped Special Education
classes for students with orthopedic impairments, multiple disabilities
and other health impairments - six classes of 39 students. The
California Children's Services has a Medical Treatment Unit also on the
campus to provide physical therapy and occupational therapy services to
children from birth to age 21 who reside in Santa Clarita Valley.

Meaningful Duties |
COC students can help students with the science
lab, a community garden, the library, tutoring and after school
programs. Also, shadow and assist Audiologist, Occupational
Therapists, Adaptive Physical Education teachers, Speech and Language
Pathologists, and Instructional Aides for the severely disabled.
