Teaching Talk Much can be learned about teaching through a simple exchange of ideas. This part of the Teaching and Learning Web Center allows teachers to exchange ideas through a message board system. After you click on the link below you will see one or more posted topics. Clicking on the topic will link you to that discussion. You will be able to read the comment or comments that have been made and to post your own. If you wish to solicit the opinions of other faculty on a topic, click on the "Add New Topic" button and add a new question. You may want to follow up with an all-faculty e-mail to inform faculty that a new discussion thread has been created. If you include the web address for the topics page, faculty members will be able to link directly from the e-mail to the discussion and you will be more likely to get a thorough discussion of the issue with which you are concerned. This message board is reserved for the discussion of pedagogical issues. Please do not post topics that are unrelated to teaching, as they will be removed from the site. |
