Workshops & GLAs

Below you can click and find more information about workshop dates and times for each semester. Unless otherwise indicated, workshops will take place at the Valencia Campus TLC (Bonelli Hall 209). Workshops with the notation "CCC" are taught at the Canyon Country Campus TLC (room 306).

Testing

The TLC Lab offers a variety of testing venues to meet student and faculty needs. Testing rooms are available for make-up exams, DSPS accommodations, and exams on the computer. In order to take an exam, all students are required to show picture identification. No exams will be given out without picture dentification – No exceptions. Additionally, examinations are not given out one hour prior to closing. Students will make arrangements to take an exam in the TLC Lab on either campus with their instructor.

"Proctoring exams for students attending outside universities will not be available from May 11th, 2012 through May 31st, 2012".

The Zone: TLC Lab for athletes

Student athletes face more than just academic challenges; balancing class schedules, homework, group projects, test preparation, and papers along with the demanding athletic schedules requires athletes to master the art of time management quickly. The Zone provides tutoring in English, Math, CIT, and many other disciplines. These services are free of charge. Tutoring is available without an appointment, and there are tutors waiting to assist students during all hours of operation. The Zone also provides a positive learning and study environment, so students can visit and utilize the quiet study areas to complete their assignments without distraction.
