Transfer
Day

This
annual fall event is to provide potential transfer students
assistance to transfer to four-year colleges and universities.
Students planning to transfer are encouraged to attend
"Transfer Day," during which representatives of more
than 50 institutions will be on hand to offer guidance and
answer questions.

| Workshops |
The
Transfer Center provides workshops that offer students
assistance in filling out college applications, writing personal
statements and an overview of the transfer process. Students
must sign up for these workshops in the Transfer Center.

Representative Visits |
The
Transfer Center has visits from several college and university
representatives who offer students individual appointments and
workshops on transfer topics. Students must sign-up for
appointments in the Transfer Center.

University Transfer Planning
Units: 1.00 (CSU Transferable)
Taught by Dr. Danielle Butts, Director of the Transfer Center
This course is designed to provide students with information
and resources to facilitate a smooth transfer to four-year
colleges and universities. Topics include UC/CSU applications,
major and general-education requirements, financial
aid/scholarships, personalized student-education plans, transfer
guaranteed programs and
factors involved in choosing the right college. The course will
increase the student's ability to understand the benefits of the
transfer process.
