What is TEACH?

TEACH is a partnership program involving California State University Bakersfield, California State University Northridge, College of the Canyons, and the surrounding public school districts to provide students with supervised fieldwork and specialized support services while pursuing a teaching credential.

Where to start?

  • After applying to College of the Canyons, complete a TEACH interest survey.

  • While at College of the Canyons, complete your lower division general education requirements and your pre-credential requirements (including your supervised fieldwork).

  • Take advantage of the special features of TEACH, including individual assistance.

  • Transfer to a CSU or UC to finish your requirements for your degree and teaching credential. You can even complete your education without leaving the Santa Clarita Valley through the University Center.

If you have questions or would like to know more information about TEACH, you can contact Renee Marshall by email at renee.marshall@canyons.edu.
