The mission of Disabled Students Programs and Services is to
provide surroundings that recognize the worth, value, and
potential of students with disabilities in an intellectually
stimulating environment, which encourages students to
become functioning, productive, and contributing
members of society.

The Disabled Students Programs and Services (DSPS)
works to encourage an environment so students may
realize their life’s potential.  In good faith, DSPS will
make efforts to foster the students’ physical and
mental well-being.  The DSPS department at
College of the Canyons believes in maintaining
academic integrity and encourages realistic choices
for academic and vocational goals.
The faculty and staff at COC work to ensure the DSPS
philosophy is implemented for the benefit of the students.
