Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education
The CARE program is designed
to assist EOPS students who:
be enrolled full-time
at least 18 years old, single head of household
· Are currently
recipient of CalWORKs/TANF cash aid for themselves or dependent child(ren) as
single head of household
been determined eligible for financial aid
pursue an educational, vocational or job training program which leads to a
certificate, degree or transfer to a four-year university
The CARE program is a
supplemental program of EOPS that provides additional support services.
Services include a CARE child care grant and transportation allowances.
Support services include advising, workshops and networking activities
specifically designed for single parents.
