Meet the Peer Advisors

My name is Breezy and I am an Outreach Representative at College of the Canyons. I am a nursing major, and I hope to transfer to CSUN for my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I treasure my job because not only am I learning critical skills for future employment, but it presents me with the opportunity to be one of the first impressions incoming students have of the college. My experience as a COC student has been a huge blessing because the faculty has a passionate desire to help students be successful, and the friends I have made have been an amazing support system. Enriching my life and college experience, I remain friends with my teammates from Speech Team and highly encourage other students to get involved in some aspect on campus.

The reason I enjoy my job so much is because after interacting with so many people every day, one gets a very good feel for the kinds of ambitions so many students have for their futures. At the end of the day, the best part is being able to enjoy the support of a kind and thoughtful faculty group here at COC.

My favorite things about COC are the diversity of the student body and all the different opportunities for classes, programs, clubs, activities, etc.
