How to access the course?

This course can be ?accessed ?via Canvas at cv.canyons.edu or coc.instructure.com beginning the first week of class. Only participants registered in this course will be able to log in to Canvas to access the course content.

One helpful tip is to add your personal email address to your Account Settings so you will receive announcements. Once logged in to Canvas, go to Account and click on Settings. On the right side of the screen, you will see an area where you can add an email address. (+Email Address)

Course Description

A course for people preparing to take the GED Exams. Course helps improve the necessary skills for students placing at beginning high school reading and math levels to successfully complete all for subjects. This course will be delivered entirely online via Canvas and Zoom meetings.  (Spanish)

 

 

What to Expect in this Course

    • Develop or improve analytical writing skills
    • Develop or improve the necessary to successfully complete reasoning portions of GED Exam
    • Practice computer skills required for GED
    • Express ideas with clarity, logic, and originality in written English
  • Demonstrate ability to operate computer and calculator

Go to ged.com and sign up for a MyGED account. Be sure to use an email address you will be keeping for a long time and don’t forget the password after you set it. MyGED is your portal into all things related to the GED. You will take practice tests, locate testing centers, sign up for tests, and receive your scores all through MyGED.

The Learning Center (TLC)
