Ways to Support COC

Since College of the Canyons opened its doors to students more than 50 years ago, the college has been widely recognized for offering innovative programs and being intentional in creating a welcoming, open environment that fosters the success of our students. We strive to continue creating unique and exciting opportunities that energize students so they continue to remain curious about the world.

Veterans Resource Center

The College of the Canyons Veterans Resource Center helps veterans and veteran dependents with applying to College of the Canyons, enrolling in classes, and getting the most out of their VA Education or Vocational Benefits.

INSPIRE Scholars

INSPIRE Scholars exists to improve access to higher education for current/former foster youth; increase retention, graduation and transfer rates and promote student learning and development.

MESA Program

The Mathematics, Engineering and Science Achievement (MESA) Program serves to support financially disadvantaged and/or historically underrepresented students by providing a variety of services including academic advisement, discipline-specific enrichment and community building opportunities. Our primary goal is to equip MESA students with the skills and attitudes necessary for their successful transfer to four-year universities.

President's Circle Innovation Grant

The President's Circle is comprised of prominent community leaders, local business executives, corporate partners, successful alumni, and others who are dedicated to ensuring the success of COC and its students. One such area of support is the President's Circle Innovation Grant program for faculty. Since inception, the President's Circle Innovation Grant program has awarded more than 200 Grants of $1,000 to faculty. This money goes a long way to helping faculty members provide unique and exciting opportunities for their students that they may not have gotten otherwise.
