Health Screening

Employees, students and visitors to campus are no longer required to fill out the Online Health Assessment and complete a temperature screening. All persons entering district campuses should self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19, including fever and cough. By entering campus, individuals certify they are not experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

  • Signage will be posted at campus entrances advising of the requirement to self-monitor for symptoms and not enter if symptomatic.
  • Stay home if you are ill or experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19!

Physical distancing icon

All physical distancing restrictions, including staggered work schedules, six-foot distance, etc., have been eliminated.

  • The district will continue to monitor and reemploy physical distancing measures if deemed necessary.
  • The district will maintain plexiglass barriers where currently installed to promote infection control.

Contact tracing icon

Contact Tracing

If the district learns that a COVID-19 positive individual was on campus, the applicable COVID-19 Compliance Officer will interview the COVID-19 positive individual to determine close contacts.

  • “Close contact” is defined as someone who (1) was within six feet of an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more (e.g., three exposures of five minutes each) over a 24-hour period, or (2) had unprotected contact with an ill individual’s bodily fluids (e.g., being coughed on), starting from two days before symptom onset (or, for asymptomatic individuals, two days prior to test specimen collection) until the time the ill individual is isolated.
  • Unvaccinated close contacts of a COVID-19 positive individual will be required to self-quarantine and monitor for symptoms for 10 days before returning to campus.
  • In most circumstances, fully vaccinated individuals are not required to self-quarantine after a close contact.

The district will continue to clean frequently touched surfaces to mitigate risk of transmission from contamination.

Individuals should continue to wash their hands regularly and use hand sanitizer available throughout campuses.

This summary is not a complete guide to the district’s COVID-19 health and safety protocols. All entrants to the district’s campuses must review the COVID-19 Containment, Response and Control Plan in its entirety and abide by all applicable policies and protocols. The plan contains greater specifics, exceptions, and other variations from this summary that are critical for all students, staff, and visitors to review.
