Campus Entry
You are not required to wear a face mask on our campuses, but doing so is strongly recommended in most indoor public spaces by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.
Testing
Campus testing locations are no longer in operation. Free COVID-19 tests are available to students and staff at the Student Health & Wellness Center at each campus.

Mandatory Reporting
You must notify the COVID-19 Compliance Team at (661) 993-7670 or via email if you experience COVID-19 symptoms, receive a positive test result, or receive a physician's diagnosis of likely or presumed COVID-19. Monitor for Symptoms
Do not enter campus if you have experienced any of the symptoms below in the past 14 days. Please contact the COVID-19 Compliance Team at (661) 993-7670 or via email.

- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

- Congestion or runny nose

Yes! Thanks to the generosity of college and community donors, the College of the Canyons Foundation awards approximately $250,000 in scholarships annually. Students can apply at canyons.edu/scholarships.

Wireless Access at Valencia Campus
In addition to campus buildings, wireless Internet access is available to students in five parking lots at the Valencia campus:
- Lot 1 near Library
- Lot 3 near Performing Arts Center
- Lot 5 near Pico Canyon Hall
- Lot 14 near Academy of the Canyons / University Center

Peer Advising
The Peer Advising Program staffed by College of the Canyons students is available to help. We have many ways to connect beyond email, including Zoom meetings and Google Hangouts.

Please follow these recommendations:
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Wash your hands (for at least 20 seconds) with soap and water after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. If soap and water is not available, use an alcohol-based sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol. Help young children to do the same.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
- Limit close contact, like kissing or sharing cups/utensils, with people who are sick.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If you do not have a tissue, use your sleeve (not your hands).
- Be aware that facemasks are most effective when used appropriately by health care workers and people who are ill.
- Monitor your symptoms.
