The College of the Canyons Associate Degree in Nursing Program holds continuing accreditation from the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA), located at 2600 Virginia Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20037. 202-909-2487.

The program is very pleased to announce that it has been fully re-accredited through October 2033 having met all of the accreditation standards from the site visit in October 2023.

College of the Canyons Nursing Program pursued specialized programmatic accreditation through the National League for Nursing-Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN-CNEA). The college and nursing program faculty recognize and value the need for achieving this mark of distinction and believe that CNEA accreditation has greater alignment with the quality outcomes of our associate degree nursing (ADN) program curriculum.

Please note that specialized programmatic accreditation is not an expectation but rather a voluntary choice of ADN programs who wish to have this added mark of distinction that demonstrates college, program, and faculty commitment to quality and excellence for current and future students. The college administration and faculty remain committed to providing excellent nursing education. If you have any additional questions about the nursing programs accreditation, please contact the Nursing Program Director, Tammy S. Bathke, PhD, MSN, RN at Tammy.Bathke@canyons.edu or (661) 362-5316.

The College of the Canyons Nursing Program is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
