Dance Therapy

 

Ingrid is a member of the NDCA of Professional Dancers and Competitors. 

Born in Costa Rica she started dancing when she was eighteen years of age performing at the Allegro Resorts in Costa Rica and in Mexico. Within four years she began dancing for the RIU Resorts as well as for the Cuban Ballet Company in Cancun Mexico; performing in many of the largest and most exclusive hotels and resorts, Ingrid danced International style Latin dance as well as performing in many popular musicals. Arriving in California in November 2004, Ingrid began working as a Pro- Dance Instructor as well as competing and performing for special events where she continues her talents and abilities in all forms of Ballroom dance and choreography. Other important accomplishments include several invitations to perform as a pro-dancer on the International Television Program, Sabado Gigante, Univision Network which included a special invitation to choreograph and perform a traditional Costarican Folk Dance for the Univision Television Network. She also performed for a USA Television Network on June 9th, 2008 as a Dance Instructor for a Reality Program Presentation.  Ingrid was also the featured Dancer with her Partner Willy for Dancing with Our Stars, in Valencia, CA; this was a major charitable event which raised money for the American Cancer Society among other charitable organizations. Most recently Ingrid was featured once again with her partner Willy as Tango Dancers in a short Movie film entitled (Esther The Film) also featured in multiple videoclips with different artists.

Ingrid currently has been working with the kids of Single Mother’s Outreach for the last Three years as a mentor and creator of a special dance program who has creating such a big impact in their lives.
