This workshop will show you how to apply to College of the Canyons and explain the matriculation steps. You will also learn about the college's resources and become familiar with our counseling services. In addition, we will introduce you to the benefits of a wonderful program known as the Adult Reentry Alliance, which supports adult learners. We will allow time for questions at the end. Pinot’s Palette has been the upscale “paint and sip” destination in Santa Clarita since 2013. Owner/operator Stephanie Sewell is bringing the paint and passion to the Women’s Conference to show attendees that painting is for everyone and can create a lifelong pastime, with or without the wine!

Health & Wellness: Primary Care for LGBTQ Women

The LGBTQ population faces may barriers within healthcare, including discrimination, ignorance, and fear there is a hesitancy to seek medical care. For these reasons, there is often a limited understanding as to health risks and the important of getting regular exams & screenings for LGBTQ women. 

Dr. Gifty-Maria Ntim, a specialist in Internal Medicine & Pediatrics at UCLA Health, will discuss the unique concerns related to medical care for LGBTQ women, including sexual and reproductive health, cardiovascular health, cancer screenings, mental health, and more.
