Looking Your Best at Any Age!

 

My journey began as a fine artist. When I realized that art could be done on any canvas, I thought… Why not a live canvas? I quickly switched gears to achieve my cosmetology license, it became the perfect combination of my passion for artistry and my love of being with people!

I never want to stop learning. The beauty of this ever changing industry is that I don’t have to because there is always more to learn. I continue to acquire certifications in Hair, Makeup, and Brow & Lash Specialties. In addition to everyday makeup and hair, I have spent the past 20 years designing theater makeup and hair for over 60 stage productions. On the rare I get to create characters and creatures using special effects, it is seriously one of the funnest things. I have also been fortunate enough to work with talented Costume and Beauty Professionals in the movie and television industry. I love the collaboration and the challenge of bringing the directors vision to life. The truth is, I love it all; Weddings, prom, photo shoots, all of it. I think I am most passionate about learning as much as I can so that I can equip others to be the best version of themselves.

My most recent endeavor has been to become an ambassador for WIGS FOR KIDS. This wonderful organization provides wigs for kids who are suffering from various causes of hair loss. They offer the wigs to these kids free of charge. I have chosen to partner with them and provide the hair cuts free as well. This way, any money will go to the organization to help with the processing of the hair. It continues to be a rewarding experience as I have met some of the most giving and incredible people.
