Introduction
Welcome to Math 102X - Trigonometry with Support course.
My name is Gagik Barsegian and I will be your instructor.
I hope that by the end of this course you will have a new appreciation for the subject matter and will continue your education in the subject.
Course Description
Examines right triangles, radian and degree measures, static and dynamic trigonometry, trigonometric graphs, trigonometric identities, inverse trigonometric functions, trigonometric equations, vectors, complex numbers, polar coordinates.
What to Expect in this Course
Your knowledge in this course will be assessed through three Exams, homework assignments, quizzes, various classwork assignments, and Final Exam.
You will need to have access to Canvas to take the course. Through Canvas, you will be able to upload/submit all assignments you are assigned. Furthermore, through Canvas you will be able to access all the lecture notes that I will be going over in class.

Exam 1 (Chapters 6 and 7) - 03/07/2023
Exam 2 (Chapters 8 and 9) - 04/20/2023
Exam 3 (Chapter 10) - 05/25/2023
Final Exam - 06/01/2023
All exams will be in person (in campus).

Often the pressure on our students is very strong, involving academic commitments, relationships, outside jobs and family pressure to name a few. The staff and faculty of College of the Canyons are here to see you succeed academically and care about your emotional and physical health. Also, the National Suicide & Crisis Lifeline number is now 988. All students at COC are encouraged to enter that phone number in their cells. You can call it when you, or someone you know, is having thoughts of suicide or is in severe distress.
