Canyons Promise is dedicated to expanding student resources by removing financial obstacles and barriers to student services that often inhibit student access to higher education. The program provides incoming first-time college students for the fall semester the opportunity to attend College of the Canyons tuition free for their first two years (fall and spring semesters only). Exclusively for first-time college students who enroll full-time, Canyons Promise provides the financial support, high-touch academic/counseling contact, and peer collaboration proven to increase student success.

Canyons Promise Financial Benefits:

*Students must maintain program requirements to receive benefits/support from semester to semester for up to two consecutive years.

- Tuition and student fees for summer and winter sessions
- Textbooks
2024-2025 Canyons Promise Admissions
Sign-Ups for our 2024-2025 Canyons Promise Cohort open on January 5, 2024 and will close at 5pm on May 1, 2024. Our 2024-2025 cohort will have limited capacity.
Who will be accepted to the 2024-2025 Canyons Promise cohort?
The cohort size will be limited to 1,600 students.
The first 1,600 students who sign up and have all sign-up requirements on record with COC by May 1, 2024 will be accepted into the program's first-year cohort.
Beginning May 10, 2024, students will be notified of their status.
Who will be waitlisted for admission to the 2024-2025 Canyons Promise cohort?
Students who have submitted the Canyons Promise Sign-Up Form by May 1, 2024, but do not have all sign-up requirements complete and on record with COC, will be placed on a waitlist.
As students on the waitlist complete all sign-up requirements, and as capacity permits, Canyons Promise will continue to send acceptances until the program has met its 1,600 student capacity, or until July 22, 2024.
No Canyons Promise Sign-Up Forms will be accepted after 5pm on May 1, 2024.
