Hazing: Zero Tolerance
Hazing Prevention
Hazing is any activity for joining or staying in a group that risks a person’s safety, health, or dignity — even if they agree to it. California law (AB 2193) prohibits hazing. Colleges must provide prevention education and clear reporting options.
Examples include: dangerous stunts; humiliation or harassment; pressure to drink alcohol, use drugs, or break the law.
Your rights: You can say no to hazing. You are protected when you report. The college will review reports and take action.
