Introduction

Prof. Peggye hiking in Garibaldi Provincial Park, BC, Canada

I'm Prof. Peggye Ahlstrom and a geologist. This online course explores the geology and biology related to dinosaurs. As a fully online class, there are no required meetings. The material will be delivered via Canvas with the expectation that students will login in, regularly engage with course modules, and meet weekly deadlines for assignments, quizzes and exams. The level of difficulty of the material presented is appropriate for a college student who is not a science major; thus, anyone in the course should be able to earn a C or better if willing to put in the required work and study time. Most students find they earn better grades when they participate in study groups and complete extra credit activities.
