College of the Canyons is a major hub of activity in the Santa Clarita Valley.  As such we are taking a leadership position when attempting to slow community spread of the coronavirus. Community Education

Explore a new activity, upgrade an existing skill, and learn while you have fun!

At College of the Canyons Community Education we offer short-term classes and activities, easy registration, low fees and outstanding instructors.

The Community Education program offers non-credit, fee-based classes and activities designed to serve individuals with educational goals that do not require college credit. Community education classes are offered in addition to COCs credit program and are not academic equivalents or prerequisites of regular credit classes.

Healthcare Fire Safety

The Online Healthcare Fire Safety meets the fire safety requirement for healthcare providers

working in hospitals located within the city of Los Angeles as well as Olive View Medical Center.

 

Global Navigation Satellite System

 The GNSS Certificate Program courses are 16 hours each and will be offered throughout the year. Students will be able to attend remotely using Zoom.

 

  Introduction to Voiceovers (Live One on One Video Chat)

Explore the voiceover industry with a professional working voice actor from Voices For All.

Introduction to Voiceovers will guide you as you learn about the differnet types of voiceovers and the tools you’ll need to find success.
