Dr. Jasmine Ruys

Acting Superintendent-President

Dear Cougars –

I am deeply honored to serve as the Acting Superintendent-President and lead College of the Canyons in the important work that it does on campus and in our community.

Though I'm new to this position, I am not new to College of the Canyons. I have been a part of the COC family for 24 years, most recently serving as vice president of student services.  I have dedicated my career to supporting students, helping make sure that you have the resources, opportunities and experiences that set you up for success.

I want you to know that I carry that same commitment into this role. You, our students, are the reason we do what we do. Your education and your success are my top priority, and everyone at College of the Canyons shares that same focus.

College of the Canyons is an extraordinary community resource because of the faculty, classified staff, and administrators who believe in the power of education and commit themselves to creating opportunity, inspiring innovation, and collaborating with our community.

The future is bright at College of the Canyons as everyone moves forward together to deliver exceptional learning experiences, nurture student success, and foster an environment of unity.

We are here to help you, so if you need something, please reach out and let us know how we can support your success.

In gratitude and service,

Jasmine Ruys, Ed.D.
Acting Superintendent-President
