Dawn Rymond comes to the Early Childhood Education department as an adjunct faculty member with a strong educational background and a variety of positive life experiences working with children and families.
She started her ECE career working for Glendale Unified in their Child Development
Program as a Title V lead preschool teacher. Dawn also worked as an elementary school
teacher for Newhall School District.
Dawn earned a Children’s Center Permit from Glendale Community College. At Pacific Oaks College she earned her BA degree in Human Development, a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential with Clad emphasis, and her MA in Human Development.
Ms. Rymond is a long time resident of Valencia where she lives with her husband and
two children. Her children, Jake and Jordan, attend Junior High and High School in
Dawn considers herself a lifelong learner and hopes to promote the motto of her alma mater, “Value the Child.”
