Gina Lam graduated from Fordham University double majoring in International Studies and Sociology. She received her M.A. from Columbia University, with a focus on qualitative research, race and immigration. Gina's sociological research interests focus on the experiences of immigrants and their descendants' (documented, undocumented, asylum and refugee populations), race, criminal penal system, and gender. 

In her spare time, Gina enjoys rock climbing, beach volleyball and traveling.
