Katie Lookholder

Katie Lookholder earned her BA in Women’s Studies from California State University, Fullerton. She then went onto graduate school and earned her MA in Sociology from California State University, Northridge. Professor Lookholder started teaching in 2013 and she has taught introduction to sociology, social problems, women's studies, sociology of gender, human sexuality, race & ethnicity, multiculturalism, research methods, and marriage and family.

During her spare time, Katie enjoys visiting with friends and family, watching movies, going out to new restaurants, hiking, and spending quality time with her dogs. She an activist for social justice and participates in protests and rallies in favor of civil rights. She is also a new mom to twin boys, and no longer has spare time.
