Lisa Wallace earned B.A.’s in English and Spanish as well as an M.A. and a Ph.D. in English from UC Irvine. She worked full-time in faculty development at UCI, and then taught at North Park University in Chicago for three years. Missing family and California, she joined the COC faculty in 2000. She has loved teaching here and continues to be inspired by her students. She also adores horseback riding and spending time with her husband.
