Jose

Hi my name is Jose. I'm a biology major. I want to transfer to a UC, preferably UCLA. I enjoy being an Outreach Peer Advisor because I get to help students in the early steps of their college experience. This is important to me because I wish someone would have helped or guided me when I was first starting my college experience. College of the Canyons is an excellent campus and the staff are very supportive. With any question a student may have, staff are there and ready to help. That's what makes College of the Canyons such an outstanding school and the reason I attend this college.

Kathy

My name is Kathy and I am a Psychology major. I am hoping to transfer to one of the following private institutions: Loyola Marymount, USC, or Chapman University beginning Fall 2017. As an Outreach Peer Advisor I get an inside look of what College of the Canyons has to offer, and I relay the information to helpother students. Additionally, I have the opportunity to work with amazing faculty, staff, and students. Aside from being a OPA, I am involved in the Associated Student Government. Last year I was the Social Student Involvement Coordinator, and presently I am the Vice President of Activities. Both positions enable me to compose various events to enliven campus life. With all this, I can definitely say I am proud to be a COC student!
