Bashir Hello! My name is Bashir and I am a Peer Advisor and student at College of the Canyons. I am a biology major and my goal is to transfer to the University of California in Los Angeles with an emphasis in immunology.  I am blessed to be a Peer Advisor at College of the Canyons because I have the opportunity to interact with the diverse community of students that we have on campus. It humbles me to be able to help students thrive and to thrive with them and it brings me happiness to see them smiling as they are one step closer to achieving their dreams. College of the Canyons has provided me with many resources and opportunities that drew me closer to my dreams.
Breezy

My name is Breezy and I am an Outreach Representative here at College of the Canyons. I will graduate from COCs incredible nursing program in fall 2019 and continue my nursing education by beginning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program shortly after graduation. I treasure my job in Outreach because alongside refining my intercommunication skills, I often have the joy of being the first impression new students have of the college. My experience as a COC student continues to be a tremendous blessing that has exceeded my hopes, dreams, and expectations with the passionate faculty who have a genuine desire to aid in student success, and the incredible people I have formed friendships with in my time here. Enriching my life and college experience, I remain friends with my teammates from Speech Team, friends from MyGenMyFight, and friends from the nursing program. I highly encourage any student to get involved on campus and make connections with people as they pursue their goals in higher education.

Sarah My name is Sarah and I'm majoring in Jazz Performance with voice as my main instrument, working toward an AA/T degree. A big part of my involvement in the music department is singing and going to festivals with the jazz choir, Just Jazz. I like being a Peer Advisor because I'm able to help people who are either new to the school or just unsure about where they're going. My favorite things about COC are the diversity of the student body and all the different opportunities for classes, programs, clubs, activities, etc.
