SBO-Parking Pass Information
A PARKING PERMIT IS REQUIRED TO PARK ON CAMPUS.
STUDENTS MAY PARK IN ANY STUDENT DESIGNATED PARKING LOT, IN A MARKED PARKING STALL ONLY.
College of the Canyons has VIRTUAL parking permits. A physical pass, sticker, or printed document to verify your permit is not needed. Officers will scan license plates to verify the permit.
To simplify the process, permit purchase and vehicle registration is done online through iParq.
PARKING REQUIREMENTS
All vehicles parked on campus must be registered and have a valid parking permit. Failure to secure a valid parking permit and register your vehicle may result in a parking citation.
Parking passes are valid on both the Valencia Campus and Canyon Country Campus
Students approved for a CCPG Method A and students accepted into the Canyons Promise – First Year Program are eligible for one free pass, but are still required to register your vehicle and acquire a permit.
Students and visitors with a valid permit may park in any student designated parking lot, in a marked parking stall only. Students, part-time employees, and visitors may NOT park in employee parking lots.
Disabled Person Parking are available in all campus lots. Vehicles using these spaces must have a valid parking permit and display a valid DMV place card.

*Students eligible to receive a discounted parking pass may receive one (1) discounted pass. All other passes are purchased at full price.

ONLINE PERMIT PURCHASE AND VEHICLE REGISTRATION

Semester permits are valid for the semester. If purchased after the start of the semester, the permit will be valid at the completion of your transaction. Daily permits are valid for the date(s) purchased and may be purchased in advance.
Students and visitors may register one vehicle per permit. Please have your vehicle information ready, including license plate, make and model. If your vehicle information changes, you can return to your permit account and update your vehicle information. A citation will be issued if more than one vehicle, registered to the same permit, is parked in one of the COC lots at the same time.
How to Purchase
Parking passes are purchased online through your My Canyons account.
To access parking, go to the My Canyons home page, select either the My Billing or Parking Tiles and from the drop-down menu select Purchase Parking. It may also be accessed, by clicking on the PURCHASE PARKING PERMIT button below.
They may be purchased from a home computer or campus computer. Computers are available in the Canyons Hall Lobby and staff is available to assist with questions.
If you need to pay with cash or on a sponsorship billing arrangement, please visit the Student Business Office.
Purchase Student Parking Passes
Access the parking screen through the My Canyons Home Page or click on the PURCHASE PARKING PERMIT button below. When the home page displays, on the top right corner, select Student/Employee Log In and sign in with your My Canyons log in. Your account information and eligible parking passes will be displayed. Continue with the purchase process – select your permit, review your cart, enter vehicle information, enter payment information, and complete transaction.
Purchase Visitor Parking Passes
If you are not a student but are visiting for on campus programs, you may purchase a daily pass. Click on the PURCHASE PARKING PERMIT button below. When the home page displays, on the top right corner, select Visitor Log In and set up your account. Your account information and eligible parking passes will be displayed. Continue with the purchase process – select your permit dates, review your cart, enter vehicle information, enter payment information, and complete transaction.
Types of Payments
- Online purchases may be made with Visa, MasterCard or Discover.
- Cash Payments may be made in person. Please visit our Office during business hours.
- Sponsor Payment when your parking fees are paid by a third party such as Department of Veteran Affairs or California Department of Rehabilitation. Please visit our Office during business hours

PARKING REFUNDS
All parking permit sales are final. College of the Canyons does not issue refunds for parking for any reason. Parking permits are registered to an individual and cannot be sold or transferred.
Prior to purchasing student parking, make sure that your schedule has been finalized and any anticipated waivers (CCPG or Canyons Promise) have been applied.
