Parking Pass
 

Parking passes are required to park on campus at all times. STUDENTS MAY PARK IN ANY STUDENT DESIGNATED PARKING LOT, IN A MARKED PARKING STALL ONLY. Permits must be affixed to the driver’s side lower left inside corner of the windshield. Failure to display a valid permit may result in a parking citation.
 
Parking passes are valid on both the Valencia Campus and Canyon Country Campus.
Parking passes are static cling. Do not peel off the silver backing.

How much does it cost to park on campus?
Summer and winter vehicle parking passes are $25 per semester and motorcycle passes are $15 per semester.

Spring and fall vehicle parking passes are $50 per semester and motorcycle passes are $15 per semester.

Daily parking passes are $3. The daily parking dispensers are located in the student parking lots

Students who qualify for a CCPG waiver are eligible to purchase one (1) discounted vehicle or motorcycle parking pass. If awarded a CCPG Method A, there is no charge. If awarded a CCPG Method B, C or D, the discounted cost for a summer or winter vehicle parking pass is $10 and the discounted cost for a spring or fall vehicle parking pass is $20. The discounted cost for a Motorcycle pass is $7.50. All additional passes will be sold at full price. top 

How do I purchase a parking pass?
Parking Passes are processed through Credentials Inc. By logging on to your My Canyons Account and selecting the Purchase Parking Permit link, you will be directed to the College of the Canyons Credentials Inc, – ParkingPlus webpage to purchase a parking permit. 

Credentials accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. top

What happens when I am not able to access the screen to purchase parking?
Due to security settings, some students have experienced difficulty accessing the parking page. If you receive an error message, please try again using a different browser. If the problem continues, please stop by the Student Business Office. There is a computer available in the office lobby with access to purchase a parking pass. Please remember to bring your address and vehicle information with you. top

Can I pay with cash to purchase a parking pass?
Yes, arrangements can be made to purchase your parking pass with cash.

How can I receive a parking pass when my pass is paid by a third party or formal sponsor?
Yes, if your parking pass has been approved to be paid by a third party under a formal billing arrangement, such as Department of Veteran Affairs, Department of Rehabilitation, First Year Promise, etc., we will bill sponsor.

To have your sponsor billed for parking, you will need to request your parking pass in the Student Business Office. Please stop by the Student Business Office. There is a computer available in the office lobby with access to purchase a parking pass and an option to pay the cashier. You will need to select this option for the cashier to complete your request. Please remember to bring your address and vehicle information with you. top

How do I receive my parking pass?
Parking Passes will be mailed to the address you supply. Credentials will populate the address that is on file with the college, however, you may change this address and have your parking pass sent to a different location.

If you do not currently have a permanent address, you may have your pass sent to College of the Canyons Student Business Office. Once the pass is received and email will be sent to the students My.canyons.edu email and may be picked up with a valid photo ID.

Please verify your name, address and email are correct. The college is not responsible for passes that are sent to an incorrect address. top

Can I share a parking pass with a friend?
Parking passes are registered to the individual purchasing the pass and are not transferable to another individual. You will be required to enter your vehicle information including make, model, color and license plate number. 

You may register one vehicle for each pass. top

What information will I need when purchasing a pass?
You will be required to enter your vehicle information including make, model, color and license plate number.  You will also need to enter your current address information. top

If I change my mind, can I return my parking pass?
All parking permit sales are final. College of the Canyons does not issue refunds for parking for any reason. Parking permits are registered to an individual and cannot be sold or transferred. Please make sure that your schedule has been finalized and all anticipated CCPG waivers have been applied towards your account prior to purchasing a pass. top

Do I need to be enrolled in classes to purchase a parking pass?
No, the purchase of a parking permit is separate from registration and you do not need to be enrolled in classes to purchase a permit.

If purchasing parking to attend classes, please make sure that your schedule has been finalized and all anticipated CCPG waivers have been applied towards your account prior to purchasing a pass. top

How do I purchase a pass if I am not a COC student?
Please visit the Student Business Office to process your request. If you do not have a COC My Canyons Account, you will need to pay with cash. Please bring a photo id, address and vehicle information. top

How do I get a temporary pass?
Once purchased, you will receive a confirmation email. Save this email. The email includes a link to view your pass status, update vehicle information and if needed print a temporary pass to be displayed on your dash.

Temporary passes are available two weeks prior to the start of the semester and are valid for 10 days from the day printed. Please wait until you need the pass before printing.  If you are on campus and need to print, printers are available in the SBO lobby, A&R lobby, Canyons Hall Lab and the ASG computer lab. top

If I change my vehicle, can I update my vehicle information?
Once purchased, you will receive a confirmation email. Save this email. The email includes a link to view your pass status, update vehicle information and if needed print a temporary pass to be displayed on your dash. top

My pass was lost, stolen or misplaced, how do I receive a replacement pass?
All lost, stolen or misplaced passes are replaced at full price. Prior to purchasing a new pass, please visit the Student Business Office to report your first pass as lost or stolen. Credentials will only allow you to purchase one pass with the same vehicle information. This information will need to be updated with Credentials prior to purchasing a new pass. top

I did not receive my pass in the mail and Credentials was not able to trace the delivery.
Please allow enough time to receive your pass in the mail. Please check with household members to see if the pass was received. If not received, please stop by the Student Business Office with a photo id to research the delivery.  top
