Withdrawal Options

Can I withdraw from my Fall 2020 courses?

For students who completed a course with a grade (W, A, B, C, D, F, FW, P, NP, or I), during the fall 2020 term, you have the option of requesting an Excused Withdrawal from your course due to COVID. This petition must be turned in no later than one year from the end of the term the course was offered.

For students who earned a W in a course during the fall 2020 terms, you have the option of removing the W from your transcript.

Please click on the drop down below to learn more about these options. You can access the form by clicking the yellow button at the bottom of the page.

  • By selecting an EW on the Withdrawal Options Form, the following information will be applied:

    • A refund will be provided to the student for the course.
    • The grade of EW will not affect a student’s academic or progress probation.
    • The grade of EW may impact a student's financial aid.  Please check with your Financial Aid Advisor.
    • The grade of EW will not change or eliminate any financial aid debt.
    • The Veterans office will report this EW grade as a non-punitive grade to the VA.
