Devora Orantes

Devora Orantes completed a BA in Art at California State University Northridge and an MFA in Drawing and Painting at California State University Fullerton. She has taught a variety of art classes including: Beginning Drawing, Life Drawing, Beginning Design, Art Appreciation and Art History. Her studio practice is driven by literary influences such as Fernando Pessoa and Henry David Thoreau. Her process is additive and subtractive. Using media such as charcoal, graphite, acrylic and ink she creates works that visually express diverse experiences in the natural world. She has exhibited in California, Texas and New York.
