GERMAN 101 ELEMENTARY GERMAN I
An introduction to understanding, speaking, reading and writing simple German, using
a basic vocabulary and stressing idiomatic expressions. Intensive drill in pronunciation
and the fundamentals of German. Corresponds to the first two years of high school
German.
GERMAN 102 ELEMENTARY GERMAN II
Prerequisite: GERMAN-101
Develops linguistic and cultural proficiency at the novice high level. Taught in German.
Corresponds to the third year of high school German. Not appropriate for native or
heritage speakers.
