BSN Options & Information

ADN/BSN Concurrent Enrollment

In 2010, The Future of Nursing report issued by the Institute of Medicine advocated for all nurses to achieve higher degrees of learning. Although completion of the nursing program at College of the Canyons will earn you an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), you'll want to continue your education to earn at least a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).

The COC nursing program has coordinated with several universities that allow students to work toward a BSN degree while enrolled in the COC nursing program. After completing the College of the Canyons Nursing Program and successfully passing the NCLEX licensing exam, the BSN can be completed in as little as one year.  BSN program lengths and costs vary.  Students are encouraged to review BSN program websites and seek academic counseling as well as financial aid planning assistance.
