Lori received a Master's degree in Paralegal Studies from The George Washington University. Lori became a full-time faculty member in 2017 and has over 25 years of paralegal experience. She was formerly employed at the law firm of Thompson Von Tungeln, A P.C., specializing in Wills, Trusts, Probate, and Elder Law. She teaches Introduction to Law, Legal Technology, Contract Law, and Estate Planning.

Gary graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1997.  Before joining College of the Canyons full time, he worked for 20 years as a litigator, focusing on business, tort, and franchise law.  In addition to teaching in the COC’s Business Department, Gary teaches Introduction to Law and Tort Law.

Nikki graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law in 1997.  Before joining College of the Canyons, she worked as Workers' Compensation and Immigration attorney. Nikki is still the only dual certified specialist in California in both areas. Nikki served as a Workers' Compensation judge for three years. Nikki teaches Workers' Compensation.

Sanaz attended UWLA Law School and received her Juris Doctorate in 2007. She has 17 years of experience with Los Angeles Superior Court, from Judicial Assistant to Law Clerk for Supervising Family Law Judge. Sanaz teaches Family Law.

Christine graduated from the Santa Barbara and Ventura Colleges of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate degree in 2013. She attended College of the Canyons prior to transferring to Cal State Northridge where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 2007. She also completed a Community College Teaching Certificate from Cal State Dominguez Hills in 2019.

Her legal background is in real estate, estate planning, and mediation. She teaches the NALA Certified Paralegal Test Prep courses in both the Knowledge and Skills sections.

Matthew graduated from University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law in 1990. He has been in private practice in the area of civil litigation ever since. He currently has his own practice in Santa Clarita, concentrating on general civil litigation. Matthew teaches Introduction to Law, Civil Litigation and Contract Law.

Terry Wright earned her Bachelors of Science degree with honors from University of Phoenix, her paralegal certificate from California State University, Bakersfield, and holds a current certification and advanced certification from NALA. 

She is an adjunct professor at College of the Canyons and teaches the NALA Certified Paralegal Test Prep-Knowledge course.

Terry has been a senior corporate paralegal with Dignity Health, a nonprofit corporation for over 25 years.  She specializes in health care law and provides services to the Dignity Health Legal Department by drafting physician-related and other contracts necessary to meet the operational needs of the Dignity Health owned and operated ancillary facilities and hospitals.
