MakerSpace

MakerSpace
combines an innovative community, high-tech manufacturing equipment, and multidisciplinary education for the purposes of enabling students, faculty, staff, and community members to design, prototype, create, and learn.

  • 3-D Printing, laser cutting, and more!

MakerSpace fosters innovation, entrepreneurship, and supports learning outcomes across the curriculum spectrum by providing the space, equipment, and instructional support for students to apply general education & career education skills and concepts through experiential and project-based learning opportunities, including workshops, instructional labs, signature assignments, internships/apprenticeships, and community engagement.

Equipment is available on first-come, first-served basis. Some popular equipment can be heavily used and wait times can be long, although every effort is made by staff to provide equitable access to everyone. Please check with campus safety on current parking policies and locations regarding MakerSpace community member makers.
