How to Arrange Taking a COC Exam at an Alternate Location:

    1. The Student is responsible for requesting their instructor's approval for taking an exam at another location. Instructors must forward their approval to TLCTestingCenter@canyons.edu
    2. Students must then find an appropriate proctoring location. Locations must be another college, university, public library, or verified testing centers. Test proctors must have a verified institutional email address and cannot be a Gmail, AOL, Hotmail, Yahoo, etc. email address
    3. Once this information has been collected, students must email it to TLCTestingCenter@canyons.edu in the following format:
    • Students name:
    • Student's phone number:
    • Instructor's name:
    • Class and section number:
    • The number of exams proctored at this location:
    • Name and number of each exam: (i.e., Exam 1-4):
    • Proctor's name:
    • Proctor's email address:
    • Proctor's phone number:
    • Proctor's fax number (if applicable):
    • Testing Location's name:
    • Testing Location's address:
    1. TLC Testing Staff will then begin verifying the requested location and proctor. They will be contacted about the proctoring process if they meet the listed standards. It is then the Student's responsibility to set up a proctoring time and date with their requested location
