Backpack Campaign

 

The Backpack campaign is an effort to supply students in a need a new backpack with school supplies free of charge. These packs are handed out at special events throughout the year, and is now facilitated by the Senate subcomittee "Canyons Cares." If you have an interest in giving back to our students or helping us pack or hand out these backpacks, consider joining or learning more about our Canyons Cares committee. 

This project was originally founded by past Classified Senate president, Justin Hunt, who gave away his own backpack to a student in need in 2018. This act inspired the Classified Senate to purchase more backpacks to give away, and to help our students succeed year after year.
