Registration Underway for Free Classes

Registration is underway for more than 40 free classes offered through the School of Personal and Professional Learning (PPL) at College of the Canyons. 

All the classes being offered will be taught online through Canvas or Zoom video conferencing, or a combination of the two platforms.

“Our classes provide an opportunity for individuals to explore new subject matter for personal enrichment or to upskill for professional advancement,” said Lisa Pavik, director of noncredit enrollment services at the college.

Some of the classes being offered during the spring 2020 semester include:

• English as a Second Language (ESL) classes (beginner to intermediate)
• Career skills (LinkedIn for Business)
• Computer skills (Word Processing Basics; Spreadsheet Basics)
• Health (Personal Trainer Certification)
• Spanish for Healthcare Workers
• GED preparation

The School of Personal and Professional Learning provides lifelong learning classes to residents of all ages and skill levels, at no cost.
