About the Campus

Opened on August 27th, 2007, the Canyon Country Campus (CCC) has grown by leaps and bounds, expanding instructional offerings, increasing student support services, and providing many informative and fun community events for the greater Santa Clarita Valley.

CCC is a comprehensive campus, providing a full array of services befitting a site that is larger than several small community colleges in California. Since 2007, more than 70,800 students have earned course credit here and more than 9,000 classes have been offered on-site. The campus has expanded access to higher education in the Santa Clarita Valley with approximately twenty associate degree offerings and thirteen certificate programs that can be completed at CCC, including AD-T degree pathways that can be completed entirely at CCC. The campus also regularly offers more than 75 classes each semester in high-demand evening, weekend, hybrid, or accelerated formats. Campus enrollment is regularly around 3,000 students per semester with approximately 120 faculty teaching classes in 200+ total classes in 35+ academic disciplines on average each semester.
