10th Anniversary of the Canyon Country Campus

Opened on August 27th, 2007, the Canyon Country Campus has grown by leaps and bounds, expanding instructional offerings, increasing student support services, and providing many informative and fun community events for the greater Santa Clarita Valley.CCC is a comprehensive campus, providing a full array of services befitting a site that is larger than several small community colleges in California. Since 2007, more than 55,000 different students have earned course credit here and more than 5,000 classes have been offered on-site. The campus has expanded access to higher education in the Santa Clarita Valley with approximately eighteen associate degree offerings and thirteen certificate programs that can be completed at CCC. The campus also regularly offers more than 100 classes each semester in high-demand evening, weekend, hybrid, or accelerated formats. Campus enrollment is regularly 4,300-5,000 students per semester with more than 170 faculty teaching classes in approximately 300 total classes inan average of 40 academic disciplines each semester.
