Economic Development Associate for the City of Santa Clarita’s Economic Development Division

 

A longtime Santa Clarita resident for over 20 years, Monica graduated from UCLA with a degree in Political Science. During her time with the City of Santa Clarita, Monica has previously managed the City’s award-winning Business Incubator, a program designed to stimulate local economic growth by promoting entrepreneurial innovation for creative and technology-focused companies. Currently, she also oversees the City’s Business Development team that focuses on directly engaging and serving the local business community to find out what they need and how best to connect them to available tools and resources. Monica also currently serves on the Board of Directors for Valley Industry Association.
