AAC NEW STUDENT CHECKLIST

• Step 1: Apply to College of the Canyons
• Step 2: Complete the AAC Application

Please note that you will be able to upload your documentation of your disability in the online application, so please have your documentation ready before you start our online application.  Examples of proof of disability may include high school IEP and psychoeducational report, medical/mental health provider’s documentation, or other documentation signed by a licensed professional.  If you need a form for your medical provider to fill out, the form is available in the online application and below.  The AAC office will contact you to schedule an appointment with an AAC counselor after all documents are received and verified.

• Step 3: Attend your AAC intake appointment.

ALTERNATE MEDIA REQUESTS

Alternate Media is provided as an accommodation by the Academic Accommodation Center (AAC). Students must be registered with the AAC department and have alternate media listed on their accommodation letter to qualify for this service.
