• Where do I get my cap and gown?
  Cap and gowns must be school colors and may be purchased from the College of the Canyons Bookstore (661) 362-3255.
  During Grad Fair on May 7, 2024, cap and gowns will be available for purchase.
• May I decorate my cap and gown?
  Yes, in good taste and must be appropriate.
• When is the deadline to RSVP?
  The deadline to reserve graduate and guest tickets is Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 6:00 pm.
• What is the date and time of the Commencement Ceremony 2024?

  The ceremony starts on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 9:00 am, in the Honor Grove at the Valencia Campus.

• What is the maximum number of guests that graduates may bring?
  The maximum number of guests for each graduate is 4
• Are there exceptions to allow additional guests?
  No
• Is graduation mandatory?
  No
• May I participate if I will finish my last class during summer?
  Yes
• Do children count as a guest?
  Yes
• How do I know if I qualify as an honor graduate?
  A notification will be sent through your school issued email account.
• When may I pick up my honor cord?
  Honor cords will be available to pick up at the Grad Fair. Gold honor cords may be picked up in Campus Life & Student Engagement (STCN-102) for any honor graduate unable to attend the Grad Fair, during regular hours of operation (Monday-Thursday: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and Friday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm).
  Please note that Campus Life & Student Engagement will be closed May 29-31, 2024 due to Commencement preparation.
• May I have someone pick up my honor cord on my behalf?
  Yes
• Who do I contact for Grad Petition questions?
  Please email the Certificate and Degree Technicians for more information on the status of your petition.
